Abstract
In ancient times, poets roamed freely like skylarks. Their lives were not prosperous. They lived in poverty. Koovur Kizhar comforts Panan, who is in a state of exhaustion and relieves his hunger. Thuraiyur Odai Kizhar complains to Andiran that he wears dirty clothes due to poverty and his clothes are stuck with nits and lice, which are causing trouble. Maruthan Ilanaganar told Andiran, "I have come to you to relieve poverty. If you go to war, we will starve to death. Avvaiyar shares the news that the farmers have been asked to give rice to alleviate their poverty. Due to the poverty of the family, Perunchithiranar went in search of Kumana Vallal and said, "The old mother is emaciated." The wife is lamenting, with a dry breast. The children suffer without milk from his wife's breast. The wife plucks out the junk spinach (which grows in the streets/everywhere). "There is no salt to put in it," he says. Although he is living in poverty, with the aim of making others live well, Aavur Mulankizhar blesses Nanmaran without blaming him, even though he does not give any material. Perunkunrur kizhar tells Cheral Irumporai that if guests come to the house, he may live in hiding due to poverty. Enicheri Mudamosiar looks at Aay Andiran and tells him to support him from begging house to house. Due to his poverty, Nannakanar used to go in search of kings not only during the day but also at night and lived on meals begged. Thus, the news of poets living in poverty is discussed in this article.
