Abstract

Feminism is about the liberation of women. For ages, women have been trapped and enslaved in a patriarchal society without the right to even think for themselves. They are being oppressed. They are being crushed and staged all the time. From the family to the country, it is considered secondary. Bharathiyar was shocked to see these atrocities and plight. He was a free revolutionary. He, a mundasu kavi (a poet identified by wearing a turban), was a progressive thinker. He was a man of his era who started talking about feminism for the liberation of women. What was the source of his idea that women should be emancipated? How to treat the female race? What should society do for the advancement of women? In this article, it is seen from what point of view they should be seen through his works. In that way, women's liberation, denial of education, love, marriage, divorce, remarriage, domesticity, politics, and heroism should be improved in all fields. Bharathi's statement that women should decide their rights and also the need for their personal freedom is explained in this article.
