Bharathiyar's Educational Thoughts

Abstract

Mundasukavi Bharathiyar is the one who made a great revolution in the world of literature by making poetry a profession and that profession for the people of the country. Bharathiyar was a multilingual scholar who paved the way for human society's development by contributing works in a variety of fields. It is very difficult to give a definite single definition of the concept of "education" as the concept of education is used in many different contexts. However, the topic of Thoughts on Education is explored in the hope that explanations of education can be derived from the way in which the word and concept of education are used. Education is required for society to thrive rather than perish. Education without purpose is like wandering in the forest without knowing the way. Education is an essential factor for social change.
