Abstract
Poetry has a better place in form and content than other genres of literature. It gives life to the lifeless. Light, giving lightless messages as well. Poetry and literature should be rich in content, form, and techniques. Literature should infuse new interpretations and feelings into every study. Only then will it become special in the course of time. The beauty of the poem is that it conveys the meaning of the poem in particular. Words have two kinds of meanings. One is obvious. The other is reference material. Sengupta points out that the object of reference gives beauty to the poem rather than the obvious. Thus, there is a lot of literary elegance in the Paalaikali in the Kaliththokai. Among them, the article describes the elegance of the parable.
