In Sangam songs, messages emphasizing the superiority of the relationship are highlighted in the short songs to highlight the friend's friendship with the woman -lead. It describes the attitude of a friend who is roaming around in order to improve relationships on behalf of the woman-lead to other relationships, taking into account the well-being of the woman-lead in its entirety. A friend’s suggestion to the man-lead of a suitable place to meet and gather with the woman-lead is to highlight the welfare role that works for the benefit of the woman-lead. The attitude of the friend who stood as a companion in times of illegal love and chastity condemned the inappropriate morality of the man-lead, and the attitude of the friend who stood in the position of the woman-lead and explained the morality of the woman-lead has been examined. The advice to get married as soon as possible has been examined by explaining to the man-lead the state of mind of the friend who is grieving over the suffering of the woman-lead. The manner in which the friend tells katuvichi (Female Diviner) about the condition of the woman-lead and repeats about the chief's mountain wealth has demonstrated the intelligence of the friend. It shows the strength of the relationship and laments to God.
