Abstract
Romantic lyrical tradition of the epic literature is considered to be very special among Sangam literary epic. Literary legacy inherited from the way of life of our forefathers. The devotees who have great love for their God considered them as hero and heroine. Alvars and Nayanmars sang internal hymns, while the internal content is based on the mind and body, devotion is based on consciousness and life. In Sangha literature, the three meanings of Karu, Uri, and Muthal are used in Bhakti literature Moorthy, Thalam, and Theertham. Shaiva and Vaishnavism believe that God can be reached through life. This article examines the use of the protagonist in such subjective development with a psychological perspective.
