Abstract

In this human world women were enslaved in the land-owning society which was formed in the agricultural society. The land-owning society values were based on inheritance, and women in land-owning society were not given equal rights and they were enslaved. From generation to generation they used to live as oppressed self-states. It is in the background of Feminism emerged the feminine language with unique ideas. All their works were about the thoughts that was suppressed in their inner minds. Even if it emerges, women faced many challenges because of male patriotism. Feminist Ambai's short stories, considered as a feminine works and it had some personality traits. The short story ‘veetin Moolaiyil oru Samayalarai’ showcases Protagonist Jiji's kitchen mastery and she bears fourteen children in the short story. She has spent her entire life in cooking. All her memories are filled with kitchen work. The language of this story is meant to express the pain of women who have been suppressed and oppressed for years.
