Abstract
Folk literature is the only thing that remains as the remnant of the culture of the ancient Tamil people. Folklore has been originated when man began to believe something. In order to express, their thoughts and feelings people write novels and short stories. Through novel, one can describe his or others life completely. The works created in particular reflect the thoughts and feelings of the people living in that area. In that, way every work of Sivashankari excels. The purpose of this article is to explore the worship in the novel Amma Pillai.
