Abstract
In the 16th century, the perennial river of the Vaishnava bhakti movement, which was created by the Azhwars, began to flow northward. The age of the Azhwars was the age of devotion. The passionate devotional songs of the Azhwars became a wonderful force to melt the heart. Vaishnava devotion of the Azhwars has the power to melt the hard heart that is like a stone to snow. Thus, Vaishnava literature emerged. In Vaishnava bhakti literature, prabandham had an impact on the works of the Azhwars. The glory of the devotion practiced by the Azhwars in prabandham is the glory of the names of God. Devotion and Pride are the special philosophies they have discovered in their works, such as the various divine pastimes of Sri Krishna, his wonderful beauty, vatsalya, Madhu Priya, dasya, and companion bhakti expressions, the glorification of Rama and Krishna as the one Supreme Being, the devotion of the Gopis, the expression, and the pastimes of Krishna, and the Madurya devotion of the Azhwars. Prabandham and the Bhagavatam are the driving forces of Krishna bhakti and Vaishnava bhakti literature. The collection of twelve Azhwars is named "Nalayira Divya Prabandham". The Azhwars have said in their works that God can be attained through pure devotion
