Abstract

Literature conveys directly or indirectly what is needed for people's life. Literature brings out the social concepts that are relevant to all times. Through Sangam literary texts, Tolkappiyam and Thirukkural one can know the civilization, lifestyle and culture of ancient Tamil people. Sangam literary texts which clearly shows up the lifestyle of ancient Tamil people suggests the people to learn and understand about internal affairs. 65 years ago in 1957, V. Suba Manikam had clearly explained about its importance in his research book Tamil Kadhal. This article deals primarily with the importance of such internal affairs education.
