Abstract
Literature is called the mirror of time which shows the life of the past. Those who read these literatures know that the poets of that time who recorded them were multi-faceted personalities and the Sangam literary works are the most prominent among these literatures which are of various types. Human society is getting new development day by day. Development is very important for the country and society. Despite the passage of seven thousand years, Sangam literature is still alive today. The most basic reason for them is that the ideas expressed in them are timeless. The Mantras portrayed in Sangam literature belong to one period but their thoughts and actions are different. so by studying their thoughts and actions we can know their different status. Psychology is used to improve the balance of human social life and to learn about the nature of human mental activities such as thought, imagination and emotion.
