Abstract
All epic stories convey ideal philosophies to the world. The characters within the story are created as philosophical symbols. The Kamba Ramayana, which is a great epic, also explains the philosophical idea that 'Righteousness Wins and Sin will Fail'. That is also the epic quality of this epic, which is called the sinfulness of this epic. Kambar's religious personality is the main reason for conveying this philosophical idea to the world. The personality of the creator is manifested in his work. In that sense, the article explores through the epic narrative how Kambar's religious orientation and personality have contributed to the preaching of morality.
