Abstract
The epic is one of the genres of literature. It speaks of the four kinds of affirmations: virtue, wealth, happiness, and home. The Bible contains literary passages that are at the root of the origin of the epics. Christian epics have emerged based on the Bible. If there is a fictional narrative in it rather than highlighting the truth as it is, the truth will find a place in everyone's heart. Realizing this, during the last days of his life, poet Kannadasan created an immortal epic called Jesus Kavyam. The poem highlights the messages of sovereignty and the good news needed for life. Life means living in a friendly relationship with others. A relationshipless life is like a saltless meal. Treating guests is a characteristic of the Tamils. It is a culture to welcome a guest who comes home with a smile on his face. There are two types of treating the guest. Treating without any expectation and doing so with the expectation that the help done will be rewarded again. Kannadasan describes this culture in jesus' epic. God loves hospitality without expectation. That is the special quality.
