Abstract
Childhood is like wax in human life. It is in this stage that a human being can be made a beneficiary of the basic characteristics and we can shape them just like giving the desired shape to the wax. The family and the institutional environment in which he learns must be conducive to the best development of basic characters in him. In these places it is essential that the relationship with the child should be uncomplicated, intimate and loving. Each individual's preferences, abilities, propensities, and family environment are different. If you know that and take care of your children accordingly and nurture them with good deeds, then those children will become incredibly successful in the way they want. S. Tamil Selvan said that when their ability and will are subjected to reprimand and punishment without knowing it and expecting results from them in their desired actions, it does not harm them at the individual level but creates psychological problems for their dependents as well. This article explains the short stories of Tamil Shelvan's 'Pathimoonil Onnu', Prabhanchan's 'Mari Enkira Attukutti' and 'Aisha' by R. Natarasan from the educational psychological point of view.
