It is no exaggeration to say that this river has been established in the history of literature as a separate entity and as a separate literature till date. Aatrupadai literature depicts the life style of the artistes and the culture of the people. In this way, Perumpanarupadai also lists the natural food of the people in front of our eyes to show the culture of the people. These lists include elimination of beverages.
