Abstract

During the Sangam period, Tamil Nadu's soil and water resources were abundant. All these contributed to the flourishing of agriculture in Tamil Nadu. Agriculture was the primary industry during the Sangam period as well. Tamil cuisine is excellent. The hospitality of Tamils is world-class. During the Sangam period, food was medicine. This article examines the path to human development and good life by adapting the food Tamils eat to suit the soil and climate through the Sanga literary book Paththupattu.
