Abstract

It was from Tamilnadu where the primitive tribes lived, that civilization, culture and culture went to other places.  This is well known from the classical literature. Of these, the diet is the principle of free disease. Food that is offensive in eating and food that is unsuitable for the body will be avoided and food will be divided into food suitable for the body and mind. It is said that if you eat good food, not only the body but also the life will not be harmed. Food is the necessary necessity for survival and often as a preventive medicine for the body. In this context, this article explains the food culture of the people who lived in the Sangam Age through the song Malaipadukadam.
