Abstract
The Ancient Tamil People considered heroism as their life. Not only men but also women were known to be heroic through the song of the fourteenth century. The heroism of mothers and the idea of how to raise a child expresses heroism. She asks whether her son died on the battlefield and inquires how her son died a heroic death or a coward death. When the brave woman heard the news that the villagers told, her son had died cowardly on the battlefield, then she would bravely set out to tell that if my son died cowardly, I will cut off my breast which fed him milk.
