His area of expertise includes ancient Tamil literature on which he has written kuraloviyam, sangaTamizh, Tholkapiyapoonga and ThirukuralThelivurai. He registers his vision for Tamil language and people in his works. He records his pride in rich Tamil tradition and at the same time he employs satire to comment about the grey areas.
