Abstract
In the last century, Mahakavi Bharathiyar set Tamil literature on a new path in terms of content and form. He is the one who brought simplicity, innovation, clarity, concentration, truth, and solidity into his writings and guided this philosophy to be useful. Philosophical thoughts such as patriotism, women's liberation, egalitarian society, social development, and Tamil sensibilities are notable. In his works, he has presented the principles of philosophical thought such as "I am Brahmam," self-realization, experience of Shiva, yoga, pure knowledge, establishment in oneness, surrender, clarity of will, and love for Shiva. This article explores Bharathiyar's creative intent, the importance he gives to them, and their uses.
