Abstract

Humans after finishing their food they spend their time usefully. Thus, they found out many arts and enjoyed it. They not only created art they himself enrolled in it and make others happy. Folk arts have developed with the only intention to make others happy. Then it can be divided into three types. They are folk practices, folk arts and folk science. Karakkatam is one of the very famous art in Tamil Nadu. This article says about karakattam art, its types and its importance with the help of two novels.
