Abstract
Although Pandithamani Kathiresan has published various works, Urainadai Kovai published in the 1940s has been considered as the best book. Annamalai University Tamil Professor and University Scholar Subramaniapillai has made a special dedication to this book. There are five parts in Pandithamani's Urainadai Kovai book. They are properly San maargam, Siva Puranam, and interpretation of Saivism. This article explains about Pandithamani's religious studies. He not even attended school for seven months but worked at Annamalai University because of his talents. He translated many vernacular texts. He taught many things to Tamil scholars and was a great orator. Though he has created various works in his life the main purpose of this article is to give a clear explanation about Urainadai Kovai.
