Abstract
All the songs in the Sangam literature are based on the statements of the Thinai People. The songs express the feeling of love that human beings have for relationships. The woman is very important in the Love-Literature of the Sangam era. As soon as the woman accompanies the man, the birth mother laments about her daughter. She feels sorry for the youthful nature of the woman and the place and objects which the woman got used to it and played. She prays that the Lord will change the cruel things that are found in the way of the woman. She also despises the fact that she is still alive after being separated from her daughter. Thus, in the song Akananooru, the relationship between the woman and the birth mother is highlighted through the nattrai (Birth mother) statements.
