Abstract
Tamil people are recognised all around the world because of its literary excellence. The way Tamils have compiled their literary wealth is enough to enrich our culture. Our Tamil land is the land where many good people have lived who have given the gift of wisdom to the whole world. The literature of the Sangam period painted colorful pictures of many aspects of life such as government and its system, battlefield, warrior ship, war memory, virtue of love, virtue of flying and domestic dignity. These are the crown jewels of Tamil culture. Tamilians have followed many virtues. Pleasure, home, materiality are the basic virtues that are must in a human’s life. The country never fails to admire those who lived according to morality. Virtue or virtue means that the meaning of the Sutra should be recited so that the hearers perceive it in a way that is understood by the listeners. Thus, the virtues mentioned in Pathitrupathu can be found in this article.
