Abstract
Tamils have been constantly trying and struggling to maintain their presence in foreign countries. They published a large number of Tamil magazines in the countries they went to. When they try to connect with the political and socioeconomic environment there, they sometimes encounter a compatible environment, and many times they do not. Tamils, who have their own identity, are subjected to various forms of ethnic problems in the neighbourhood even after migrating due to the war situation in their motherland. As hard as it is for immigrants to maintain their presence in foreign countries, it is as difficult to live through the national oppressions there and unite the Tamils there. They have started magazines, one of the artistic activities of the Tamil people, and are also using it as a platform to bring together the global Tamils and bring the problems faced there to the world. This article brings to light the lives of foreign Tamils by bringing out the foreign Tamil journals, which are constantly recording the memories of their motherland where they have escaped to foreign countries and are unable to lead a free life.
