Abstract

Epics have occupied a special place in the world of literature. Epics are the first literary works among ancient languages. This analysis is done from Konguvelir's epic poem. The study shows that this book is considered as a superior epic. Life characteristics like love, virtue, friendship, education, mission, funnel game, ball game, war etc. are best seen in the epic. The Tamil language of that time clearly explains the thoughts of life. This article makes clear that the ethical life thoughts of that time are still present and followed today.
