Abstract

Literature is a mirror of a time and society. It has been shaping itself according to the environment in each period with each direction and trend and has been putting up its trace. Such literature is a tool language that helps to convey the ideas and feelings that one knows and feels to others. Poetry alone plays an important role in making the language beautiful. Starting with Sangapadals till today, many poets have been recording the times in which they live, the society around them and related events in their poems. In particular, womens are using literature as a platform to free themselves from the shackles of domination, to reflect on their food, and to express their feelings of struggle for rights. In the modern era, the feminist voice can be seen as the independent voice of the woman rather than being the common intellectual voice of the male social system. As short stories, novelties, novels, essays, poems, etc. To create many works in front of himself and the society, the language of poetry presents a deep understanding and brings out many psychological problems and changes. Modern women’s vernacular poetry has focused on constructing and recreating a feminine alternative culture while putting forward arguments against male-dominated social conventions. A. Vennila is one of the most notable contemporary women writers who are creating such literature. Various prizes and awards have been given to his poetry collections. In this article you can see what are the themes in A.Vennila’s poem.
