Abstract
Literature is the mirror of a society. According to this through ancient works we define the condition of the society at different era. Earlier matriarchal society was superior and women were given importance and later on situation changed and patriarchal society was given importance. In patriarchal society women were lost her opinion, freedom and was forced to live as a slave. To recover from this situation, feminist movements emerged and one of its sections is critical analysis of women's condition. Ramanichandran, who understood the pleasures and pains of women, intends to bring about change through his work. Ithu Oru Udhayam begins with a woman who is enslaved to love at the end become a revolutionary woman who raise voice against her rights.
