Abstract
During the pre-Hungarian period, man depended on animal meat to meet his food needs. In such a society, powerful clan leaders used to fight wild animals and kill them and share their meat with their clansmen. During such hunting, the tradition of worshiping the hero who died after hunting the animal as a deity developed. Each time they offered a portion (a portion of the meat) of the animal caught in the hunt to the deity. This resulted in the tradition of sacrificing animals to the deity. This sacrificial tradition, which is still practiced today, has shrunk to a great extent due to Vedic influence. This science examines how the origin of this tradition of sacrifice changes due to the influence of other religions in social development.
