Abstract
Javvadu Hill is a historical hill. Malayali tribes have been living on this hill for centuries. Humans live in a family system. A family is formed as a result of the marriage of a man and a woman. Family plays a major role in the development of individual and society. The family structure of the Javwad hill tribes falls under the dichotomy of joint family and separate family. If you want to be a joint family in Javwadu Hill, you should not divide the property, like land and house, among your brother and your son. Most of the people living on this hill have leveled the land from 16 feet to 20 feet or 22 feet by 22 feet and built the house. Houses are mostly single-roomed. In front of every house are two paddy fields. Emphasis on natural food products. They eat kelvaragu porridge for breakfast.
