Abstract

In the Article we can see the importance of nature described in Aattupadai Literature one of the “Pathupaattu” collection in sangam literature. New ideas about the harmony between nature and people of Sangam Period are also been described in the paper, Imageries about sun, rain, land, flower and mountains by the sangam poets were also pointed out with noted evidences. Hence, this paper unfolds the significance and role of nature in the chosen domain area.
