Abstract
Love is the only thing that rules mankind. Love can subjugate and rule all people. There is no one in this world who is not bound by love. Everyone's happiness lies in love. God can be seen only through love. Thevaram means love to God and devotion to God, 'The' means deity and 'Varam' means love. So Thevaram is the love of God. It can be said that it is in the sense of love for God. Thevaram and Moovar Thevaram are the compositions of three Nayanmars – Thirugnana Sambandar, Thirunavukkarasar and Sundaramoorthy Nayanar. The period of the Thevaram compilation was A.D. It is the tenth century. It was compiled by Nambiandar Nambi. He has compiled all the devotional songs of Saivism into eleven Thirumurai. Thirugnana Sambandar's songs as the first three Thirumurai, Thirunavukkarasar as the second three Thirumurai, Sundaramoor; He has compiled the songs as a Thirumurai and compiled them into three Thevarams. The purpose of this article is to explain through the Moovar Thevaram that the perfect grace of God comes only when one loves others.
