Abstract
The unique Tamil language has innumerable literary origins. It presents images of life as literature. Internal and external accounts of life form the nucleus of creation. Culture is an inseparable part of human life. Culture is the emotional component of human life. Poet Vairamuthu's Karuvachi Kaaviyam is a realistic portrayal of village life. Mahatma Gandhi's statement "The soul of India lies in the villages" speaks volumes about the importance of village life. This essay explains the cultural aspects of village life through Karuvachi Kaaviyam.
