Abstract
The work of the narrator plays a major role in the success of the novel and easily matures the readers. It is the work of the narrator that relates to human life, echoes life, and becomes the container through which events unfold. Vairamuthu has fictionalized the story in his stories, thus making it believable that the actions of the characters have actually taken place. The narrator has shown in advance the location, time, environment, etc. of the events of the story. He has created the people he encountered in his contemporary life as characters in his stories. He has captured the images of his mantras through their physical appearance, characteristics, and speech. Therefore, it is an essential objective of this article to examine the characteristics of the main narrator in his novel Kallikattu Itigasam.
