Abstract
Literature spectacles for knowing the culture discovered by human society. Theories are the criteria by which to classify and measure it. Thus all the materials used by man reveal his knowledge, thought, nature of the soil, habitat, etc. Material culture, which is an integral part of cultural anthropology. The culture is explored based on the following material types. Material culture is the study of a person's habitat, diet, clothing, equipments, transport equipments, other tools, sports equipments, currencies, etc. One of the works of Ponnilan, (the creator of Nanjil) is the short story 'Pichippoo'. Its purpose is to explore with the use of material reported in the Novel.
