Abstract

Our society is developing and growing fast in all aspects like civilization, scientific knowledge and economy. But it is a fact that a particular division of people in the society is still suffering and they are not able to come out from their dejected situation of life considered as the underclass people. A compass in the ship is a device which helps the sailor to show the directions and guides him to reach the shore safely when he is in the mid of the sea. Likewise, literature is a device which guides the good path to the people who lives in this universe. Literature is like a glass which reflects on the society. and it is also called as the treasury vault for our civlized culture. In Tamil literature, the novels register the congregation’s history. Most of the novels throws a light on the happenings of realism. but the novels majorly focus on the overall biological life of the underclass people by detailing their cultural positions, social existence, habituation, relationship status, professional system and their problems. this research paper or essay analyses on the life of the cremators, whose entries are very rarely unseen and updated among this novel.
